Dr. Veselina Ganeva is an anaesthesiologist with 17 years of experience in the specialty. She graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1996 and in 2006 she received her specialty diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive care. From 1996 and on, she has worked in several specialized and multidisciplinary hospitals for active treatment, as part of the Anaesthesiology and ICU department of the cardiac surgery and vascular surgery departments of the National Cardiology Hospital, Acibadem City Clinic and the University Hospital of Emergency Medicine “N. I. Pirogoff.” As a specialist she has been responsible for the anaesthesia and reanimation of patients in departments of cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology and gastroenterology. From 2019 until 2021 Dr. Ganeva has been part of the Anaesthesiology and ICU team at Uni Hospital Panagyurishte, where she took part in highly specialized surgery of patients in the departments of Plastic surgery, Visceral surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncological surgery, Urology, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. From 2021 until 2023 she was appointed chief of the department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive care at the Multidisciplinary hospital “Ivan Skenderov.” Since January 2018 Dr. Ganeva is a member of the English General Medical Council and ever since, she has been practicing her profession in both countries. As of now, she works at the Intensive care unit at the Clementine Churchill Hospital in London, and since May 2023 she is part of the team at Saint Lazar Maternity Hospital. She is a certified classical homeopathy specialist and a member of the Bulgarian Homeopathy Society. Dr. Ganeva has many of experience in pain relief and treatment of adults and children. With а spirit of leadership, responsibility and irrevocable experience in her field, she is an active part of the decision-making and treatment of our patients.
